SITUAÇÕES DE RISCO PARA EXPOSIÇÃO A MATERIAL BIOLÓGICO POR PROFISSIONAIS DE ENFERMAGEM NA ASSISTÊNCIA DOMICILIAR

Resumo:
**Objetivo:** identificar as atividades que se constituem em risco de contato com material biológico e ou acidente percutâneo, para os profissionais de enfermagem, que atuam em um serviço de atenção domiciliar. **Métodos:** trata-se de um estudo de corte transversal. A população do estudo foi constituída por 231 visitas domiciliares realizadas por profissionais de enfermagem que compunham a equipe do serviço de atenção domiciliar. A coleta de dados foi realizada de agosto de 2016 a janeiro de 2017. Os dados foram analisados por meio de estatística descritiva. **Resultados:** Das 231 visitas domiciliares observadas, 87 (37,6%) tinham três profissionais, os procedimentos mais realizados foram pressão arterial e pulso (221/95,7%), seguidos de curativo (98/42,4%). Todos os profissionais utilizavam algum tipo de equipamento de proteção individual, sendo a luva (156/67,5%) o mais frequente. O jaleco considerado como uniforme foi utilizado em 229 visitas observadas (99,1%). Em relação aos dispositivos o escalpe (29/58%) foi o material perfurocortante o mais utilizado, das cinquenta agulhas utilizadas, 35 (70%) tinha dispositivo de segurança e apesar disso o reencape ocorreu em (23/46%) visitas observadas. **Conclusões:** o estudo permitiu identificar as situações de risco mais frequentes na prática dos profissionais de enfermagem que atuavam no serviço de atenção domiciliar, as quais poderão subsidiar medidas de prevenção de exposição.
